Imagine studying the French language not only in a university classroom, but in the corner cafe where you order coffee, the clubs where you dance with friends, the very streets you walk to school.

AUP鈥檚 carefully crafted French programs offer rigorous instruction in the French language鈥攔eviewing grammar and vocabulary, improving pronunciation鈥攚hile allowing a firsthand introduction to French culture both in and outside the classroom.

Students will be placed into聽one of four classes聽ranging from very introductory French for those with no experience,聽to a high intermediate course for聽those with a good familiarity of French looking to聽express more complex ideas聽and attitudes.聽All French Immersion students will take an online placement test to determine which course to enroll in.

• Daily coffee and croissant breaks offering opportunities for casual conversation聽
• 1 d茅gustation de bienvenue 鈥� Welcome wine-tasting
• 1 lunch with one of your聽professors
• 2 Friday afternoon faculty-led tours of towns near Paris to places like Reuil-Malmaison and Saint-Germain-en-Laye, including dinner
