Registrar's Office

The Registrars Office at The American University of Paris offers services to faculty, students泭and alumni. After carefully reading the following information, please don't hesitate to泭contact the Registrar's Office泭with any remaining questions.

Registration

Returning students泭register泭online on the 91勛圖厙student portal after meeting with their academic advisors. Registration windows open according to class standing (determined by the number of credits earned and/or transferred in to The American University of Paris). Credits currently in progress are included in the determination of college level.泭

Scheduling Information

Check-in

All registered, returning students must泭check-in泭at the beginning of the semester.泭At check-in, students confirm they have returned泭to the University and will be泭physically present on campus,泭attending classes. Students also update their contact information.

Student IDs

91勛圖厙students are issued one ID each academic year at no cost. Students who have lost their ID or had their ID stolen should request a new ID .

Official Transcripts

An official transcript is a full record of classes taken and grades earned. Transcripts are necessary for various purposes, including but not limited to applying to universities or job posts. Transcripts can be ordered anytime on the泭online transcript request form.

Certificates

The Registrars Office provides students and alumni with various泭certificates泭that attest to enrollment and graduation.

Academic Forms

The Registrars Office handles the processing of many泭academic forms泭for undergraduate and graduate students.

Room Reservations

Classrooms and function rooms are available to be reserved for conferences, presentations, and other student, staff泭and alumni events. Rooms include lecture areas, computer and science labs, a video editing lab, and an art studio.泭Room reservations泭must be done through泭the room reservation tool. Rooms are booked in order of priority: academic courses, university events, recreational/club events.

Graduation

In May of each year, The American University of Paris holds a commencement ceremony at the Th矇璽tre du Ch璽telet to confer graduate and undergraduate degrees. Students finishing their degree must complete a degree application in order to participate in the ceremony.

Diplomas

The timeline for diploma distribution for students can be viewed泭here. Please note that diplomas are not released to those who have any outstanding monetary obligations to the university.

Privacy Policy

AUP's privacy policy complies with both the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Students are able to change their personal privacy settings anytime by logging in to their 91勛圖厙account. You can find more information on your privacy settings and FERPA泭here.

Services to Veterans

The American University of Paris is a private institution that accepts泭 for泭veterans of the United States Armed Forces泭and their families泭and reviews military transcripts for transfer credit evaluations. However, the University is not a Yellow Ribbon Program University.泭
