Lowendal, Saint-Saens, and Laos Apartments:Ìýresidents living in this area of Paris will not only live near the iconic Eiffel Tower, the beautiful Champ de Mars, and the famous Invalides, but they will also be a short walk of between 15-25 minutes to the 91³Ô¹ÏÍøCampus, so the daily commute will be a picturesque one as they stroll down the grand avenues of Paris to their classes at AUP. With many restaurants, cafes, and bars on Avenue de la Motte Picquet, and the busy shopping street, Rue de Commerce, just a short walk away, residents will have everything at their fingertips in this neighborhood. This area evidently attracts lots of tourists, so if you enjoy living in a busy and touristic area, you might enjoy living in this neighborhood, but if you prefer somewhere quieter or more residential, one of our other locations might suit you better.
Laos, Lourmel, Lecourbe, and Croix Nivert ApartmentsÌý: these apartments are in an area of the 15th arrondissement that is much more residential, ideal for students looking for a more authentic experience of Parisian life. Residents will still have a relatively short commute to campus via public transport, while also enjoying easy access to hubs of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, and supermarkets in their neighborhood. Residents in these apartments can fully enjoy the best of both worlds – easy access to green areas and parks (Georges Brassens Park an André Citroën Park) to further enjoy the calm and peacefulness of the 15th arrondissement, or a quick metro ride to the Champs de Mars and Invalides to enjoy the Tour Eiffel, the Quais de Seine, and other touristy spots within the area.
Please Note: students will be able to select a shared room in a Flexliving apartment as an option on their preference form. Specific location preferences should be indicated in the comment section of the form; we will do our best to accommodate those preferences.

These shared apartments allow students to still live with their 91³Ô¹ÏÍøpeers and find community in experiencing the transition to Paris together, while also being with students who have had previous college experiences that will undoubtedly inform their time at AUP. These apartments will be managed by the 91³Ô¹ÏÍøhousing office, in collaboration with our partners: your point of contact and resource will remain the 91³Ô¹ÏÍøresidential life staff.
For Flexliving apartments, roommate requests in the housing preference form can be made for students wishing to share a bedroom in the apartment. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate group requests (for a full apartment) in the preference form. Students wishing to request each other and list Flexliving as a preference should be mindful to match their Flexliving location preferences (if any are indicated) in the comment section of their form.
